High School Equivalency Program

WHAT IS HEP? SRJC HEP is one of fifty federally funded educational programs nationwide designed to assist seasonal agricultural workers and their families in obtaining the equivalent of a high school diploma (a GED). HEP also helps students prepare to move on to higher levels of education or training and into more stable and better-paid forms of employment.

¿QUÉ ES HEP? SRJC HEP es uno de los cincuenta programas de equivalencia de la escuela superior dispersos por todo el país y diseñados para ayudar a los que trabajan en la agricultura temporalmente, y a sus familias a obtener el equivalente de su diploma de la escuela superior (el GED) y prepararse para alcanzar niveles más altos de educación o entrenamiento al igual que empleos más estables y con mejores salarios.

HEP is funded through a grant from the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Migrant Education
