College Accountability Institutional Goals: #1 Instructional Quality #2 Student Success #3 Program Development #5 Continuous Learning |
Review the developmental program in English and begin revision using an outcomes based accountability model. Evaluate student performance and progress in pre-collegiate basic skills programs and identify key research issues. (Education Goal 3) |

1st phase of a complete review & internal articulation of English reading and composition program. Emphasis on more objective measures across sections. This would provide for faculty leadership and assistance in addressing Educ Goal 3. Given P4E goals, coordination of developmental efforts is a high priority for Academic Affairs. SPECIAL NOTE: Through other funding sources we have been able to fund several other P4E proposals--BAD and CIS curriculum projects, College Success support, & the Economic Development plan. |
