AFA Mission
AFA's mission is to create a working environment which will provide needed changes and maintain needed
stability in our educational institution by:
- promoting professional excellence,
- seeking equitable treatment for all faculty,
- empowering faculty to participate in decisions which affect their professional lives, and by
- working with faculty, students, administration, and staff in shared governance.
AFA's mission will be supported by
remaining accessible and responsive to our colleagues,
providing accurate and timely information to the faculty,
maintaining open communication between faculty and adminstration, and by
co-operating with all segments of the Santa Rosa Junior College community in identifying and pursuing shared values.
