About AFA

AFA is a local, independent, collective bargaining agent and we represent all Unit A faculty members in contract negotiations, and therefore the only faculty group which has the right to negotiate your salaries, benefits, and working conditions. We have accomplished significant gains for both regular and adjunct faculty, and continue to enjoy good working relations with the District. After successfully negotiating eight contracts, AFA continues to enlarge the scope of the contract and to address existing inequities.
