"Bridging the Doyle" Faculty Matching Grant
For nearly six decades, Doyle Scholarships have been offered to graduating high school seniors in Sonoma County who were deemed "worthy young men and women attending Santa Rosa Junior College" by the Doyle Trust and by the Trustees of SRJC. Through the "Bridging the Doyle" campaign, members of our community can help bridge the gap made by the temporary loss of the Doyle Scholarships. Your contribution is vital to helping local students achieve their aspirations, since they are our future teachers, firefighters, artists, mechanics, theologians, farmers, nurses, scientists, and community leaders. By supporting scholarships for SRJC students, you are also supporting the economic health and recovery of our community. We urge you to be an integral part of the "Bridging the Doyle" campaign so the dreams of our graduates do not disappear.
AFA has compiled a number of donations from faculty to institute a matching grant for the College’s "Bridging the Doyle" program. This grant will effectively double any donation from the public up to the $5,000 grant amount. All contributions will go directly to scholarships for students and are tax deductible.
