Services & Responsibilities

• Purchase all computing related hardware including desktops, laptops, servers, related peripherals, telephones, networking, and wireless.
• Purchase software packages including but not limited to Windows/Macintosh OS's, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Purchase and maintain software licenses, contracts, and handle software checkouts to college employees for home use.
• Purchase approved reasonable accommodation software for college employees in tandem with Human Resources.
• Develop and maintain software and hardware purchasing budgets for Instructional Computing and Informational Technology.
• Develop and maintain institutional standards including hardware platforms (Windows & Macintosh), software, and training.
• Purchase and track computing-related fixed assets and corresponding warranties.
• Serve on collegewide technology groups.
• Solicit and disseminate technology information both within Information Technology and throughout the college community.
• Prepare short-and long-term goals for Information Technology.
