Some of the buildings and some services (including online) may have lost connectivity today (Sunday) when a routing loop caused a failure in many of these connections.  This occured at approximately 1 o'clock this afternoon and lasted for about 45 minutes when IT personal arrived on site to fix the problem.  Services were immediately restored and the buildings were restored one by one.  The loopguard feature which triggered the failure has since been disabled and IT is investigating the root cause.
