    1. Typing HELLO xxxxx.xxxxx [Enter] at the colon(:) causes the cursor to go back to the beginning of the same line and you are unable to log in
    Possible Causes:
  • This problem most often occurs when the Reflection program has been closed with the "X" Close Window in the top right corner of the window instead of using the "Exit Program" button provided.
  • Another reason might be if the session got stuck or timed out and Reflection had to be closed.
    Resolution
  • Press and hold the [Alt] key and press the [M] key
  • The onscreen buttons in the Reflection window change
  • The 3rd button from the left should say BLOCK MODE
  • On Screen Reflection Buttons
  • If there is an asterisk (*) on the button, click the button with your mouse pointer
  • The asterisk (*) will disappear
  • Press and hold the [Alt] key and press the [U] key.
  • This sets the onscreen buttons back to their original state
  • Select the File menu and click on Save Reflection... (If Save Reflection... is not there, look for Save Settings...) A dialog box may open so you can save the file settings. Click on the save button.
  • Login as you normally would

Normally, when you click on the icon on the Desktop, it has been setup to start the program and load a file that contains the settings to connect to the server. In this case, the program has started without loading a settings file.
    Resolution
